Late R.B. (Dr.) Mathra Dass Pahwa, the visionary founder of D.N. Model Senior Secondary School, Moga, laid the foundation of an institution dedicated to excellence in education and character building. The school is managed by a team of highly dedicated, learned, and respected citizens of Moga and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
Recognizing the growing need for modern English-medium education, the school was established in 1964. It was subsequently recognized by the Punjab Education Department and received CBSE affiliation in 1972. Since then, the institution has continued to nurture generations of students through quality education, discipline, and strong moral values.

D.N. Model Sr. Sec. School is a C.B.S.E affiliated co-educational school. Life here is a dynamic blend of learning, creativity, and discovery. Each day is filled with meaningful experiences—from engaging classroom lessons and collaborative projects to vibrant cultural events, sports, and community service. The school operates on a house system, where each student and teacher belongs to one of five houses *(AAKASH, PRITHVI, JAL, AGNI & VAYU)*. This system promotes teamwork and social skills through various inter-house competitions. Points earned from these competitions contribute to annual trophies recognizing excellence in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities at both individual and team levels.
Kindergarten
Children are a precious gift of god and keeping this in mind, our kindergarten is designed in such a way that all aspects of child’s learning and development are taken care of .It provides a healthy environment which helps children learn and grow naturally.It enables the children to develop intellectually by performing various activities. It is fully air- conditional and provides all the facilities.
SAADHANA & UPASANAA
Education in the school is rooted in both knowledge and inner development. Through daily Sādhanā (disciplined practice) and Upāsanā (devotional connection), students learn to center their minds and nurture strong values. YOGA
The students from nursery to 10th are taught yoga by yoga experts as a part of school curriculum. They perform various Aasanas and Pranayama Emphasis is laid on physical fitness and sound mental health.
BAND
The students begin the day marching at the beat of the drum during the morning assembly. The school has its own band comprising of girls and boys from classes 6th to 8th in which instruments like flute, basic drum, side drum, bugle etc. are played along with action display.
KALAANGAN
The aim of D.N. Model School , Moga is to focus on overall development of a child’s personality. The practical aspect of learning is taken care of in our well-equipped labs. We have Home Science lab, music lab and art lab to cater to smooth learning of our students. Our H.Sci lab aims at developing Home-manager and Home makers. Art lab and music lab also try to bring out the best in our children thus nurturing their hidden talent. We create artists here. Children try to express themselves through singing, dancing, drawing, painting and craft activities.
